New Seven Deadly Sins
In Religion class, we were taught that there are 7 deadly sins - pride, envy, gluttony, lust, anger, greed, and sloth.
Now, Vatican suggests an updated list for the age of globalization. Pollution, genetic engineering, drug dealing, abortion, pedophilia, social injustice and extreme wealth are now listed as mortal sins.
I've heard of this a month ago, but I'm not sure if the topic has already been discussed by the Church here in the Philippines. I'm curious as to how they'll go about it.
